OUR STORY | Your Q's
We get tons of questions about The Grove all the time.
Here’s a shot at answering some of them:

::There are a ton of churches in this area, why start another one?
Over the last few years, our community has grown at a pace that is so rapid that the existing church simply doesn't have room to accommodate every person making their home here. An important part of this is the fact that currently only about twenty percent of the people in Henry County attend a church of any kind on a regular basis. So, even if another ten percent of the county chose to attend a church, there wouldn't be enough space for every person in a weekend worship service with the amount of churches currently meeting.

::What makes The Grove unique?
This may be the best reason we think there is to start another church in Henry County. We believe that the church should be a place where people can come and be engaged, no matter where they are in life. Regardless of struggles, issues and dependencies, the church was meant to be a place where every person is welcomed and challenged to become a devoted follower of Jesus. But no perfect people allowed.

::What kind of church are you?
Non-denominational. The kind that has no interest in simply doing church for the sake of keeping a religious tradition. Our goal is to be more like Jesus. Everyday.

::What does a worship gathering look like at The Grove?
You'll find great music, maybe even something you've heard before. There will be a teaching time, where our Pastor will deal with the kinds of things that you're actually going through. You won't be talked down to, singled out or asked to jump through any hoops. Of course, you can expect to learn ways to take your next steps with God. Ultimately, you'll find an environment specifically designed for you and your kids to reconnect with The Creator of the universe.

::What should I wear to church?
You can wear whatever you'd like, we don't have a dress code and honestly most people won't notice what you're wearing, we're all much more interested in you and the fact that you came. As a point of reference, our Lead Pastor wears jeans most of the time.

::How long does church last each week?
Typically, you can expect our worship gatherings to last about an hour, give or take a few minutes.

::What are the people like that I will encounter when I come?
The church is full of all types of people, with all types of backgrounds. The spectrum is pretty wide ranging. Some have gone to church all of their lives; some have never been to a church, until now. The point is, none of us are perfect, we all have issues, and we’re just willing to admit it.

::Does the Pastor really look like Jay Leno?
He hopes not, although it has been said before. You be the judge.
